how to outsmart reality

The Greatest Lie The Devil Ever Told

The greatest lie you’ve ever believed?

That your biggest enemy is out there, lurking in the shadows.

This single deception has led millions to focus on the wrong battle, chasing external enemies while the real fight is happening much closer to home.

Almost everyone has heard of the concept of the 'devil,' but few truly understand how it works—or more importantly, how to outsmart it and finally take control of their life.

This lack of understanding is why most people fail to achieve success and happiness despite having all of the potential in the world.

If fear, procrastination, or self-doubt has ever held you back, this might just be the newsletter that changes everything.

The Danger Of Drifting

As simple as it may seem to develop a definite aim and purpose, 98 out of 100 people fail to do so.

The reason the vast majority of the population lacks a definite purpose is that they drift through life, constantly distracted by fleeting temptations and the endless supply of cheap dopamine at their fingertips.

In the previous newsletter, I discussed how multitrillion-dollar companies spend billions each year on marketing and advertising to capture human focus and attention.

Everywhere you look—especially on your mobile devices—people and companies compete for your energy, pulling you deeper into consumption.

All of this makes it much harder for the average person to stay focused on a purpose or mission, keeping them trapped in an endless cycle of distraction.

Drifting occurs when a person fails to take control of their own mind, allowing procrastination, doubt, and indecision to take over.

The longer you drift through life, the more habit takes hold. This state becomes increasingly difficult to escape.

Drifters commonly fall into self-reinforcing cycles of thought that lower their state of mind, eventually leading to emotions like fear, guilt, and shame.

Ultimately, this is what the concept of hell represents—a state of mind that one lives in here on Earth.

A Definitive Aim

By creating a definite aim, purpose and mission in your life, you protect yourself from the destructive powers that arise from the habit of drifting.

A clear objective for your life arms you with certainty, confidence and self discipline.

You become emboldened to live with intention, clarity and a defined direction that keeps your mind safe guarded from the negative influences we call the devil.

The world is no longer a battle ground of negativity but a playground of positivity designed to help you achieve endless victory.

Failure and adversity present themselves to you as valuable insight and wisdom rather than defeat.

Your enthusiasm and joy carry you through tough times and allow you to rise above the noise of the crowds.

This is the power behind a definite purpose backed by a specific plan of action.

Recognize the ‘Devil’ and How It Controls You

The first step to reclaiming control of your mind and forging a definite purpose to guide and protect you is to recognize how the "Devil" operates and the ways it influences you.

The devil is a representation of the negative energy in the Universe, it's the spirit that is responsible for holding people back in life.

It's not a literal being somewhere below the surface, but an energy that lives inside the mind of man through fear, doubt, and procrastination.

As this negative force—often referred to as the Devil—takes hold of the mind, it harnesses the power of hypnotic rhythm to reinforce destructive thought patterns, shaping habits and behaviors that ultimately lead to drifting.

Hypnotic rhythm is a concept that Napoleon Hill famously speaks of in his book, "Outwitting the Devil".

He describes it as a natural law, similar to gravity, that makes habits hard to break.

Once thoughts and actions are repeated consistently, hypnotic rhythm takes over and makes these patterns a fixed part of a persons nature.

Hypnotic rhythm can be looked at similar to a whirlpool, where small, repeated actions create a current that pulls a person deeper into either success or failure, making escape increasingly difficult.

Just as a swimmer caught in a whirlpool must exert great effort and deliberate action to break free, a person trapped in negative hypnotic rhythm must apply definite purpose and persistent effort to reverse their course.

Fortunately, just as hypnotic rhythm can trap you in a whirlpool of negative thought patterns, it can also work in your favor—reinforcing positive thoughts and actions that lead to success.

The bible, in fact, speaks of the power of hypnotic rhythm in Matthew 13:12.

"Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."

Matthew 13:12 reflects the principle that those who actively use and develop their gifts, knowledge, and faith will receive even more, while those who neglect them will lose what little they have.

Both the verse and the concept of hypnotic rhythm ultimately illustrate the power of compounding.

The thoughts you consistently entertain and the small daily actions you repeat may seem to grow linearly at first, but over time, they compound exponentially, reinforcing themselves and accelerating your trajectory—whether toward success or failure.

The "Devil" uses hypnotic rhythm to trap people in destructive cycles—just as Jesus warns in this verse.

The only way to break free is through awareness, discipline, and purpose.

So, ask yourself: Are your habits working for you or against you? Because whatever you repeatedly do, hypnotic rhythm will magnify.

Find Your Definite Purpose

If you want to harness the power of hypnotic rhythm in your favor and take control of your life, the next step is to develop a definite aim and purpose.

Your purpose acts as a shield against procrastination, doubt, and distraction.

It gives you a reason to wake up each morning, dust yourself off, and step into the world with intention.

A man who moves through life with purpose is harder to control, harder to deceive, and far more resistant to the distractions of the modern world.

When you commit to a definite aim, you consciously program your mind to attract like-minded people, opportunities, and circumstances that align with your vision.

To be definite means having absolute clarity and commitment to a vision.

To develop this, you must first decide what you truly want.

Take a moment to reflect—go back to your childhood if necessary.

What were you always naturally drawn to?

Ask yourself: If I had unlimited money and time, what would I dedicate my life to?

That answer is what you need to uncover.

However, it’s important to understand that your deepest purpose may not reveal itself overnight.

It requires time, reflection, and a willingness to seek guidance from the Universe.

As you engage in this process, the answers will come—but only if you are patient and persistent in your search.

Master Your Mind Through Discipline

The mind must be controlled, or it will control you.

If you want to outsmart the negative forces that dominate 98% of people, you must first master your own mind.

Definiteness requires discipline.

Discipline is the foundation for achieving your definite purpose and accomplishing anything meaningful in life.

The key to discipline starts with intentional thinking—taking control of the thoughts that occupy your mind.

While this may sound simple, it’s far more challenging in practice.

The mind is naturally chaotic, and maintaining control over your thoughts requires intense focus and effort.

A more practical approach is to start by mastering your daily habits and routines.

Simple actions like waking up at a set time, exercising regularly, and eating properly create structure and stability.

Repeating these actions daily reinforces neural pathways in your brain, making disciplined thinking easier over time.

If you intentionally build positive habits—like morning affirmations, goal setting, or reading—you naturally train your mind to be more focused and purpose-driven.

On the other hand, if you fall into negative habits—such as procrastination, mindless scrolling, or avoiding difficult tasks—you weaken your ability to think with intention.

Making the same small decisions every day (e.g., Should I wake up early? Should I work out? Should I make those calls?) drains your mental energy.

But when good habits become automatic, they free up your mind for higher-level thinking and decision-making—allowing you to stay focused on your greater purpose.

The choice is simple: drift through life, controlled by external forces, or take full command of your mind and create your own destiny.

Drifting may feel comfortable in the moment, but it leads to a life of regret, fear, and unfulfilled potential.

The way out is through awareness, discipline, and a clear, definite purpose.

Decide today to reclaim your focus.

Be intentional with your time, guard your attention, and take daily action toward your mission.

The battle is won in the mind—once you master that, nothing can stop you.

Your move.

Hope this helps.
