curate your reality
If you don't curate your reality, someone else will curate it for you.
Most people drift through life with no intention. no design and with assigned labels and identity's.
They assume the role of a spectator watching a movie, instead of embracing the role of the main character.
This inevitably creates problems of anxiety, depression and mental health issues later on down the road.
Ultimately leading people to resentment, anger and regret.
There is however an alternative, a different way to live.
You can begin to see your life from a new lens, as a blank page, where you can define the meaning in your life, the purpose, or why, behind the what and see yourself as the hero in your own story.
By taking control of your life and curating your reality, you step into your own authenticity, purpose and higher self.
You are aligned both internally and outwardly because your expectations and beliefs match you actions and behaviors.
When you are aligned like this, you radiate confidence, competence and contentment.
This only attracts more opportunity and abundance to you.
The process of curating your reality is very simple and straight forward.
It all starts with the word.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1, KJV)
The verse illustrates how creation begins with the word.
In order to curate anything in life, you first must speak it into existence.
The words you speak and thoughts you hold shape your self perception, behavior and relationships.
We so easily speak words without knowing the power behind them.
We are like a kid holding a gun, completely unaware of the consequences and magnitude of our power.
When you begin to speak words into existence, especially when you do so repeatedly, you shape your own beliefs.
The first step toward curating your reality is to take control of your speech and harness the power behind the word.
If that means speaking less, than speak less.
Not only will this make it easier to not spread destructive thoughts, but it will make the words you do speak, much more powerful.
The next step is to live what you say.
Any fool can speak big and bold words into the ether, but few can actually act on those promises.
Always keep the promises you make and hold true to the things you say.
Your reputation over the course of time will begin to work for you.
You will become someone respected.
And respect is never given, but always earned.
The key to living what you say goes back to step number one.
Be very very mindful of what you say and the promises you make.
Oftentimes when we fail to live up to what we say, it comes from a place of distraction or laziness more than anything.
We aren't being mindful of the importance of acting out the words we speak, and we carelessly talk from a place of hypothetical and hypocritical.
If you tell yourself you are going to do one thousand push ups tomorrow, do them. No matter what.
If you tell yourself you are going to eat clean and wake up early, do it, like your life depends on it.
"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21, NIV)
Curating your reality is rather simple.
It is not something that you need to study or read about.
Its as simple as doing what you say you are going to do, and becoming mindful of the thoughts you hold, actions you take and promises you make.
As you begin to live this truth of yours in total alignment with yourself and the world around you, you will begin to accrue massive amounts of positive karma and momentum in your life.
People begin to believe in you, trust you and have total confidence in you.
You will begin to understand and trust yourself in an entirely different way.
Ready to win.
Its that simple.
All the best,
